If we have a call booked — or if you think you might call me one day — put my number in your phone now, before it matters. Most people let unknown numbers ring out, and a call about your Medicare coverage is a poor one to miss. The contact card below adds my name, number, email, address and hours to your phone in a couple of taps.
If your phone asks whether to open or download the file, choose open — that is what hands it to your contacts app. Nothing is sent back to me when you save it, and saving it does not add you to anything.

How do I save it on an iPhone?
Tap the button above. Safari will show the card and ask what to do with it — choose Add to Contacts, then Create New Contact, then Done in the top corner. If nothing seems to happen, look in Files under Downloads and tap the card there; it will open the same way.
How do I save it on an Android phone?
Tap the button above. The file downloads, and tapping the download notification opens it in Contacts, which asks you to confirm the account to save it to. If the notification has already cleared, open your Files app, find Joshua-Heizer-Way-Maker-Insurance in Downloads, and tap it.
Why bother saving it?
Because the alternative is that my call shows up as a string of digits from a county you may not recognize, at a moment when you are already getting more calls than usual. People turning 65 get found by every list broker in the country, and screening unknown numbers is a sensible response to that. The trouble is that it screens out the call you actually asked for along with the rest.
Once the number is saved, my name shows on the screen instead of the digits. That is the whole of it — a small thing that keeps a booked call from quietly failing.
When will I hear from you?
If you booked a time, at that time. If you left a message or sent an email, the same day during business hours, and first thing the next morning if it came in overnight. If a call is going to run late, you will hear from me before the hour, not after it.

Common questions
Does saving your number sign me up for anything?
No. The card is a file on your phone, and downloading it tells me nothing — I cannot see who saved it. There is no list attached to it and no follow-up triggered by it.
Will you text me?
Only if you text me first, or ask me to. Some people much prefer a text to a call, and that is fine; it is your preference to set, not mine.
What if I miss your call anyway?
I leave a message with my name and number, and you can call back whenever suits you — Monday through Saturday, 8:00am to 7:00pm. Missing one call costs you nothing and does not lose your place.
Can I share the card with someone else?
Please do. Adult children helping a parent through this are welcome to the same number, and it is often the more practical phone for it to sit in.
I would rather not save it. Can I still reach you?
