Way Maker Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency in Cumming, Georgia. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We have tried to write this in plain language rather than legal boilerplate. If anything here is unclear, call us at 770-765-7007 and ask. We would rather explain it than have you wonder.

We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.
What we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and whatever you write in the message box. Our form also records which page of our site you were on when you submitted it, so we know what you were reading and can answer more usefully.
When you book an appointment, our scheduling is handled by Calendly. What you enter there — your name, email, phone number, and any notes — goes to Calendly and then to us. Calendly’s own privacy policy governs what they do with it.
When you become a client, we collect the information needed to shop and place coverage: date of birth, address, the doctors and prescriptions you want covered, your Medicare number when you enroll, and similar details. We only ask for what a carrier actually requires.
Automatically, when you visit, our host and security provider record ordinary technical information — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. This is standard server logging and is used to keep the site running and to block abuse.
Cookies and tracking
We use a Facebook (Meta) advertising pixel. It reports page views to Meta and can be used to measure advertising and show ads to people who have visited our site. If you would rather not be tracked this way, you can turn off ad personalization in your Facebook settings, use your browser’s tracking protection, or block the pixel with an ad blocker.
Our security provider, Cloudflare, sets a __cf_bm cookie. It is used to tell real visitors from bots. It is not an advertising cookie.
We do not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. Every other script on this site is served from our own domain.
Our videos are hosted on our own site, not embedded from YouTube or Vimeo. Watching a video here does not report anything to a third-party video platform.
Why we collect it
- To answer your question or return your call
- To quote, compare and place insurance coverage for you
- To service your policy after it is in force
- To keep records that state insurance regulators and carriers require us to keep
- To measure and improve our advertising
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your contact details to lead buyers or other agents.
We share information only where it is needed to do the job:
- Insurance carriers, when you ask us to quote or apply for coverage with them
- Calendly, for appointment scheduling
- Meta, through the advertising pixel described above
- Our website host and security provider (WP Engine and Cloudflare), which necessarily process traffic
- Regulators, or anyone else the law requires, if we are legally obligated to produce records
Health information
If you tell us about your health, medications or doctors so we can find suitable coverage, we treat that as confidential and use it only for that purpose. We do not share it for advertising, and it is never part of the pixel data described above — the pixel sees pages, not conversations.
How long we keep it
We keep client records for as long as we are your agent, and afterwards for as long as insurance recordkeeping rules require. Enquiries that do not become clients are kept while they are still a live conversation and then routinely cleared out.
Your choices
- Ask us what we have on you. Call or email and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct it. If something is wrong, we will fix it.
- Ask us to delete it. We will, unless we are required to keep it for regulatory reasons — in which case we will tell you what we have to keep and why.
- Stop hearing from us. Tell us and we will stop. There is no process to go through; just say so.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. Ask us and we will honor them.
Children
This site is meant for adults making insurance decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections on this site. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not treat your information casually.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
